 Runners-up Junior Fours | | | Billy Johnson's team wins Junior Fours
Winners - Junior Fours
L-R Marcel Mroczkoruski, Billy Johnson, Nathaniel Patterson & Amanda Laird
|
Tony Tinworth, Sunday, 6 May 2012
Billy Johnson today capped off career as a Junior bowler with his team's win in the Fours Championship by defeating Toby Wang's team in the final.
Billy has won this event on several previous occasions and now has won the Singles, Pairs and Fours this year. He will be sorely missed next year but this will give the other juniors more opportunity to show their ability. Winners of these three events will now go to Warilla in July to play off in the State Junior Championships.
Zone president Bob Moran was on hand at Belrose this afternoon to congratulate all the winners and runners-up and to present all the trophies and prizemoney. Since this concludes the Zone's Junior events for the year he thanked the Junior's team, Earle James (North Sydney), Ron Piper (Belrose) & Bill Pretti (Seaforth) for all their efforts to coach and encourage our Juniors for another successful year
